Embracing women in their most vulnerable state

Holding them up

Helping them to stand

On a support system we build together

So she won’t just be a shell of a person when motherhood wanes

Like I was

Building value in parenting, in mothering

Nurturing and caring

And similarly putting a stop to self flagellation

The world will give her enough of that as it is

And probably already has
